Because everyone knows it sucks. The average adult by and large does not like wrestling. However, many of them watched as children and they will judge you, like you must be a giant child because they grew out of it and you didn't. They don't care if you learned how to watch it correctly and are enthralled by a bunch of layers that they don't get, you're wrong and they're right because normies think like that.

But the drawback to saying AEW, NXT or wrestling from a country outside your own is that now you are weird because you enjoy something they've never heard of.
