Did Cody actually leave because he saw that AEW was bringing in Punk and he saw the writing on the wall? Just wondering that seeing as how he's shared not so pleasant stories before of being in a locker room with Punk

I believe most of it. I 100% believe he was close to broke and desperate. That's why he did that cringe WWE/FOX gig too. I find it really weird that he and AJ Lee are supposed to be married but neither posts the other on their social media. The creepy with female wrestlers thing can basically be verified just from backstage shit we've seen.

There's probably something to the Khan/Elite drama too. Things just seem weird between them.
