If he'd beaten Kenny at All Out, as originally planned, I think his reign would have at least gotten off to a better start than it did. Instead, once he finally won the belt at Full Gear, it just felt like a "now what?" moment.
And in the meantime, not only Punk, but also Danielson and Cole had arrived, and needed to be in the main event scene. There were a lot of fans who thought TK should have pulled an audible and had Danielson take the belt off Kenny at Grand Slam.
