That Colision card is fucking insane. Standard ass Dynamite but with people that haven't wrestled in weeks. Tony Khan has no understanding of momentum.

Forget the milly, I'll be shocked if it gets 750k despite being the debut episode

It's hilarious. I dont know if Tony is just that spineless and can't get anyone to shut the fuck up and do business or he thinks he's being clever by keeping these people off the 3 other hours of TV before debuting another 2. Either way he's dumb as fuck

I really don't get the logic of doing MJF/Cole for the AEW title and the BCC/Elite match on Dynamite over Collision. It's the first Collision show and you want the most amount of people to watch it as possible. Tony should be making it a PPV level show and have all of his names on there. The title should be defended and there should be a big gimmick match.

There's also just been little hype and advertising for Collision in general.

One of Tony's biggest problems is how he leaves people off TV for weeks sometimes months at a time. It works with guys like the bucks, you need to time to forget their last match, because it's going to be exactly like the next one, but some guys would benefit from being on TV consistantly. Collision gives him another chance to get those guys on TV, hopefully people will be watching both shows, and it doesn't end up being a 2 hour rampage.

they're not slotted to do big numbers, they're there to have a stable number, which is why Rampage isn't going anywhere either. AEW is a content farm now, not a passion project.

If both can make it to the match without getting hurt, I think it will be really good. Good story with Punk never having actually won a match in their trilogy. And 2000s indies guy are just significantly better than the 2010s indie guys that make up the bulk of AEW.

Lost all hope for Collision once I saw the card was filled with Tony Khan's patented nonsensical cold matches. I want to see Joe, Punk, Jay, Juice, and FTR in a properly built feud. This, I've never saw no names like Bobby Quance or Chris Bosh (PWG not NBA) windmill their arm a foot away from their opponents and expect the other guy to sell it, but I've seen Kenny Omega do that.
