I've worked at a few places that have a "shit list". It's a white board that looks like this

If you want to do one of those spots, you sign your name next to it. If it's taken, plan something else. This works like 90% of the time. Idk of AEW has anything like that, I've never asked. But I know guys who came up through Chikara and CZW have worked with systems like this before. I just don't think they have a lot of influence on how the shows are booked, so it probably hasn't been implemented.

I've said this since the start, but there is definitely SOMETHING to that whole Colt Cabana business. He was there as a regular presence and then he wasn't. He didn't just miss one Dynamite due to the flu and everybody jumped to conclusions.

And you know what? I actually believe Punk when he says he had nothing to do with that. I think Tony's to blame. He probably put Colt on the shelf to try to appease Punk without Punk asking him to, and that's what caused a lot of this. And I bet Tony blames himself for all this happening to some degree, hence why he wants to bring Punk back and give him Collision and everything (well, that and appease WBD too obviously.)

Although there is something highly ironic about Punk refusing to talk to Colt after all this time and then acting like the dumbfounded beaten down puppy because the Elite refuse to talk to him. In fact, if he had gone to Page man to man before any of it and explained himself, instead of acting like he did, he might actually be justified in believing nobody listened to him like he is now.
