>>10504903Here's the real talk about the HHH reign of terror. First off it legitimately wasn't good. Don't be mistaken by any contraeian retard who tries to make you think it was actual good TV, but it was also completely understandable considering the circumstances.
They just had a mass exodus of talent (Austin, Rock, Foley) a brand split where they for some reason gave Smackdown every single well known, or up and coming star (Angle, Brock, Taker Hogan, Edge) and Raw was stuck with HHH who was at least a name in the attitude era, and a bunch of B+ midcard shitters like Jericho and Christian. Raw functioned under the formula of generic midcard shitter gets a title shot, loses, is replaced by Shawn Michaels who loses, and then the new generic midcard shitter gets a title shot. It says a lot that Booker T is the #1 go to example for someone who was buried. A dude who spent most of his career in WCW fighting over the US and TV titles, and only won the main belt when the company was in it's dying days and not even drawing 5k people to it's PPV shows.
The only person HHH legit buried was Goldberg, who lost to a shoot crippled HHH in the elimination chamber for absolutely no reason. And even that was probably some weird Vince punishment thing for being a WCW guy.
The real complaint about the reign of terror should be that Raw was filled with boring ass shitters who couldn't draw a dime and HBK had to keep being shoved into the main event every 3 months because the smark darlings couldn't draw
