You gotta think in terms of long term like the WWE does. If you add your old shows to streaming you dont want to be paying millions to some jabroni just to keep using their theme song for 3 minutes.

Not how modern licenses work. You can option to have a perpetuity clause that gives you rebroadcast rights as well. It's just a lot more expensive.
