You know, when people talk about WCW, they always seem to know precisely what went wrong with it and why it fell.
But when it comes to ECW, it feels like most people just don't really exactly know why it fell, just that it did. But I can't help but feel that it's weird, because unlike WCW, it didn't have it's "terrible" period that everyone clearly recalls like with WCW and Vince Russo period. It's like it was on top for a long time, and then it just suddenly dipped and deflated out of nowhere. Everyone speaks about it fondly and when Paul Heyman talks about it, it always gets pops, so what the hell happened and how could ECW's fall have been prevented?
