Tsuji got brought back instantly looking like a big deal. Jack Perry was the weak link of a 4 way main event feud. I like both NJPW and AEW but Jungle Boy vs SANADA sucks and is clearly just meant to further an AEW angle instead of being an interesting match. Would've picked Christian, Mox, Jay, Archer, hell even Juice over this.

It helped establish Tsuji as a future main eventer in NJPW. Okada won the world title shortly after returning from excursion. If you knew NJPW, you would know they often do put titles on new guys to help establish them. In the case of a crossover event, Jungle Boy is a worthless challenger. Yes, it is for experience and Jack can afford to eat a pin, but there are still more interesting AEW options in that case. It ultimately does nothing for either company or wrestler. AEW knew they had to give a win to SANADA so they feed him the most unimpressive opponent they could think of.

Meanwhile the AEW World champ gets to beat Tanahashi at Forbidden Door. Tanahashi, even though he is old as fuck now, is still one of the most popular wrestler NJPW has on their roster. Having their young champ beat him makes AEW look good.

SANADA should get to beat Chris Jericho. That is a fair trade for MJF beating Tanahashi. As always, AEW fucks NJPW over and NJPW takes it in the ass like a champ. Nice "partnership".

Although the biggest bitch in all this is Jungle Boy. Guy is literally getting fed because Tony doesn't want anyone "important" loosing to SANADA, kek.

In the SANADA VS Tsuji match, Tsuji was meant to be the highlight. This is fine. It keeps the belt on SANADA and gives a nice shine to Tsuji on his debut at a big stage. New Japan is effectively using both its talent.
In the SANADA VS Jungle Boy match, Jungle Boy is meant to be the highlight. He will have a close match with the champion from another company and barely lose, perhaps even due to some Hook shenanigans. This is not fine. New Japan is giving out Tanahashi to put over MJF. Meanwhile, Tiny Cunt is using another company's champion for his overpushed no name value midcarder geek's storyline.

It really ain't that hard to do a match graphic. I admit I edge on the side of caution and agree that it's probably happening, but if it is then the way I see it we get ZSJ as International Champion, and I'm a Zack mark so I'll take the sacrifice of a better SANADA match for that.
