A lot more than that.

Schiavone was working as a commentator during the glory days of JCP in the 80s and for WCW in the early 90s all the way through to the end of WCW. He even had a brief stint with WWF in 89 where he called SummerSlam.

I think he's okay now. Certainly better than Michael Cole, the man that ruined commentary for a generation.

Schiavone was good back in the 80s and 90s too. He was never the GOAT though. I think he gets more credit now due to longevity and still being decent, while JR has fallen off a cliff due to his health and age (not really fair to compare).

The GOAT from WCW was Mike Tenay though. Schiavone bickering with Heenan was funny though.
