That was how pro wrestling used to be. Today it's one big joke even to the wrestlers. There is no suspension of disbelief, so crucial in ALL fiction, because there's no semblance of it being a contest at all. Rather, it looks cooperative and planned, the exact opposite of a pro wrestling match.

Cena was focused on working out and getting over. I'm not a fan but I recognize he was meant for kids, like Sting back in the day. I assume you keep bringing Cena up because you think I hold him in high regard. I turned that off in the PG era because it was so cringe. He was okay in ruthless aggression era.
