you could probably do a pretty decent g1 lite in roh
the logistics of a g1 are insane and that would keep things simple. wont have the star power but you could easily find the talent to pull it off reasonably.

AEW's roster is too thin for it and Tony doesn't let his top guys beat other. The pillars tournament was absolutely dreadful and a round robin tournament would have even more WWE bullshit finishes.

That's actually not bad. Each wrestler only has 3 matches before the elimination round, so the schedule is more manageable and injuries are less likely.
