Any MMA fan concerned for the good of the fighters should want this. Tony has shown he thinks of himself more as a benefactor to art he loves than a ruthless businessman. Even if he's giving the guys the sort of contracts low level AEW originals got, which were reportedly six figures, that'd go a long way to helping the fighters. Some poor 22 year old beating his brains into mashed potatoes in a cage fight deserves to be better compensated.

Lellator has drastically worse production values and fight quality than the UFC. Outside of a couple of stars who eventually get poached every card feels like UFC prelims. If Tony really is trying to just ape the WWE/UFC fusion he's making a mistake because Smellator is a very distant second to the UFC.

tony and dad is probably the best option since they'll keep aew running of out their own pocket no matter how bad the tv deals get. and the fighters will probably get huge contracts for doing nothing too. Plus I love seeing tony lose money.
