Until the recent boost thanks to the MK1 trailer, MK11 had been averaging about 6% of its peak number every month.
Compare that to:
Tekken 7's ~18% retention
Street Fighter V's ~15% retention

It may not seem like a big number, but that's more than double for both, triple in Tekken's case.
Sure, overall sales are important, but having a consistent playerbase that sticks around for additional content seasons is the real key to success.

you can buy everything in Mortal Kombat, but you legit have to be a retard to do that when you can unlock everything through the story or the krypt. only thing you should ever buy are the kombat packs(DLC characters and skins)or the ultimate edition of the game so you get everything. so, I don't know, wait until it's on sale and then buy the ultimate edition.
