Mick Foley was a huge star in WWE as Mankind while at the same time he was a huge star in the indies as Cactus Jack aswell. You weren't running indy shows in the mid-late 90's unless Cactus Jack was on the card

Bro, Cactus Jack was working indies more than anyone else even when he was in WWE. This was after his WCW and ECW run. He'd always take indy bookings in between the WWE schedule. He never left the road.
