Rick Rude.

Hennig was great too, but Rude was nearly as good in ring, but also a better promo, stronger, better physique, and could draw nuclear heat with ease. Rude was the total package.

They never worked for WWF, but Tenryu did and partnered with WWF for Super World of Sport. He had matches with Hogan too. Vince could have pulled a classic territory move of putting the belt on Tenryu to the delight of Japanese fans and have him drop it back to a WWF guy like Hogan or Savage in a week or so.
