It seems there’s no confusion, and in our next contest will be Minnie Moo! The boisterous bovine has been somewhat absent since the horrific Exploding Barbed Wire Light Tube Death Match at Forbidden Allure, but with a match title like that she can take all the time she needs.

Meanwhile, TRIN-NITY has been in all sorts of action since Forbidden Allure, including joining the WWA roster in full with a match against an old rival -- is ‘rival the right word? More like punching bag ha ha -- ahem, uh, an old rival of Minnie Moo’s, Nefertiti, who we will see in action later tonight. TRIN-NITY won her match at Forbidden Allure, and then went on to win a triple threat between all members of the Pride, meaning she and Neith would enter the Tag Team Tussle at Onsen. Though unsuccessful, it was arguably The Pride who came away the most unscathed of all the competitors, and it can be sure they will be looking to bounce back into tag team action sooner rather than later.

It's a good thing that at that moment Sapphire's mum wraps an arm around her and escorts her inside, otherwise she may have fainted right then and there.

Sapphire's mum asks Nikki to tell her more about herself and the girl replies with the only things she can think of in her current enamoured and overwhelmed mental state. "Jennifer is my bestie and we do wrestling and Lonelyfans together and I think I'm in love with you guys!"

She then abruptly starts hugging Sapphire's mum, inadvertently burying her face in the taller woman's bosom in the process.

Moving on before the animal welfare teams gets involved...

This is not quite a debut, but according to many it is the rebirth of one Lightning Nika. Known for her plucky attitude, never give up wrestling style and -- oh that’s right, 10 straight losses without a win, Nika returned with a shocking surprise for her presumably former friend Sola Fire some weeks ago. A founding member of the Divine Angle -- and let’s not forget who holds two of the top singles gold in the company right now -- Nika has undergone rigorous training with Ms Divine’s personal crew, and is looking to make a statement with her first win.

Standing in her way, however, is a tough task for anyone. LILLITH was last seen at Forbidden Allure where a tough loss to Jingisu Khan had us all preparing for the worst. Thankfully that didn’t happen, but I don’t think it’s a stretch to say Lillith has been out of in-ring action since then with thoughts of her pet DOG on her mind. I was also handed a note here -- I think this was handwritten by Lillith? I’ll read it as it’s written, folks. Uh, ‘when lillith beat knee girl, knee girl help lillith plant flower at training house.’ I can only assume that means Lightning Nika has agreed to do some gardening with Lillith, if Lillith can eke out the win.

There’s no more time for talk, it’s time for action! Let’s find out if Nika can get her first win, or if Lillith will have another pair of hands in the garden!

Raging Red returned to in-ring some weeks ago and it’s fair to say shocked the world with a victory over Her Majesty, The Queen. Lillith was persistent, displaying her unwavering tenacity by kicking out of the first Lightning Knee, but Nika remained undeterred and swiftly delivered a second knee strike, and finally pinned her opponent with a count of 3. Nika couldn't believe it. Securing her very first victory, particularly against an opponent renowned for sheer strength, filled Nika with a sense of disbelief. It made her question why she had gone without tasting this wonderful sensation for countless arduous months. She had undoubtedly been missing out on something extraordinary. Immersed in the ecstasy of her achievement, Nika's moment was abruptly overshadowed by a chorus of exasperated boos echoing through the arena. Those who had eagerly anticipated her victory, once fervently cheering her on, now seemed to have abandoned their support or lost interest altogether. Perhaps they held a higher regard for Lillith, she ranked five places ahead of Nika in the popularity poll after all. Regardless, Nika found it unfair, and even profoundly infuriating that she no longer had anyone passionately rooting for her, especially now that she had grown stronger and proven her worth.

However, Nika stood tall, radiating magnanimity as she extended a handshake to her defeated opponent. A stoic smile adorned her face, but those who could easily read a liar would detect a glint of mischief hiding behind Nika's eyes.

Up next, we have a match brought on by some harsh words across a language barrier.

Nefertiti was the unfortunate Pride member not to be involved at the Onsen A Lifetime Tag Team Tussle, however she is looking to bounce back strong in a singles match with La Misquita. After the recent pair of defeats to Minnie Moo, Nefertiti had hoped to change her fortune with a win over KINOTA at Forbidden Allure, however this was not the case. What must be considered an upset win over TRIN-NITY in that monster’s first foray into the WWA seemed to spark confidence in Nefertiti, and she look to continue to ride this wave tonight.

Now, I’ll admit I don’t understand a lot of what La Misquita says, but her harsh words relating to Nefertiti can transcend all language boundaries. Before Misquita's recent turn as "La Jefa" Raquel Durango’s personal ring announcer (and commentator and cheerleader and general kiss-ass), she had competed in the Rookie Cup, making it to the quarter finals before falling to Neith, a stablemate of Nefertiti. La Misquita avenged that loss with a recent singles victory over Neith, and will be seeking to continue to run through the Pride with a victory in this match up.

What a match, and what a win! An exciting result that is sure to have many consequences going forward.

But now, our sole tag team match of the event, and one that has been in the cards for a long time now.

The Immaculate Connection recently made their tag team debut in the Tag Team Tussle at Onsen A Lifetime, but this match will be their first official teaming under regulation two-versus-two rules. Amy Flame, a former WWA Dojo standout, has gone on to great things under the tutelage of the now WWA Champion Priscilla Divine, including taking the former champion to her limit and in many fans’ view being screwed out of the victory. Colby Jefferson, meanwhile, is a relative newcomer to the WWA, but already boasts a victory over a former tag team champion in her own right.

Their opponents tonight, are Sola and -- wait, this sheet doesn’t say who her partner is? I guess we‘ll just have to find out. Sola Fire has had a tough time of late, but perhaps a return to action will do her some good. We last saw Fire in competition against her friend Little Beaver, before the \*shocking\* return of Lightning Nika. Rumours say that Sola originally requested a singles match with Amy Flame, but something changed and a tag match was called for sometime before Onsen.

Why this match is only happening now, and what reason Colby has to be so angry with Sola remains to be seen, but the moment is now, and it’s time for tag team action!

But now, it’s time for the main event. And this one, Waifumaniacs, has some history to it.

All the way back before Waifus Collide, Bishamonta would defeat Duna Sands in a ‘Sandcastles’ Match, or a Tables Match for those of you playing at home. This win would catapult Bishamonta into the four-way main event, while Duna would end up taking second place in that show’s Battle Royal. Fast forward a few months, and Duna Sands would get a win in a singles contest that really could have gone either way. Most recently, at Onsen a Lifetime, the two would meet in an Iron Waifu Tables match -- a combination of Sand’s specialty, the Iron Waifus match, and the match where Bishamonta emerged victorious -- only for the match to end in an unsatisfying draw.

Sands would throw out the challenge for one more meeting at the next premium waifu event, but a quick reply from Bishamonta made it clear that was just too long to wait. Taking a brief period to consider her options, Sands would then reply that this issue needed to be settled as soon as possible, and such this match was made official. No thrills, no gimmicks, no stipulations. Just one more match between the two, with one woman standing tall as a winner.

But now, it’s time for the main event. And this one, Waifumaniacs, has some history to it.

All the way back before Waifus Collide, Bishamonta would defeat Duna Sands in a ‘Sandcastles’ Match, or a Tables Match for those of you playing at home. This win would catapult Bishamonta into the four-way main event, while Duna would end up taking second place in that show’s Battle Royal. Fast forward a few months, and Duna Sands would get a win in a singles contest that really could have gone either way. Most recently, at Onsen a Lifetime, the two would meet in an Iron Waifu Tables match -- a combination of Sand’s specialty, the Iron Waifus match, and the match where Bishamonta emerged victorious -- only for the match to end in an unsatisfying draw.

Sands would throw out the challenge for one more meeting at the next premium waifu event, but a quick reply from Bishamonta made it clear that was just too long to wait. Taking a brief period to consider her options, Sands would then reply that this issue needed to be settled as soon as possible, and such this match was made official. No thrills, no gimmicks, no stipulations. Just one more match between the two, with one woman standing tall as a winner.

Nikki is more than a little curious about just what Sapphire walked in on, especially after the way she reacted to the reminder. But then the conversation shifts as her friend asks her parents about her ability to teleport. Nikki's ears prick up and she too looks at Sapphire's parents awaiting their answer.

"Hey Jen, if you're teleporting over to Thea Thority can I tag along? I got a text before I came here about a meeting with WWA Talent Relations, and they're all in the same building."

Just then, Sapphire's dad mentions Saph's mother getting a contract. Nikki's eyes light up. Sapphire AND her mom in the WWA? She feels her cheeks becoming flushed. What could possibly be more incredible than this? "Oh my god!" she exclaims. "That's such an incredible idea, Madame Emilia. Trust me I have a pretty good idea of who the fans would be into and I guarantee you'd be a huge star. And like, you're magic, so you must be really strong too! You'd be so awesome, this is just the bestest thing ever!"

She engulfs Sapphire in another hug.

Duna was exhausted.

Every match with Bishamonta pushed her further and further to her limits. Big Red was, in every sense of the word, a monster. Every strike from her felt like it would shatter Duna's bones. Every throw, every slam felt like it would turn Duna's body to dust.

Bishamonta was tough. She was strong. On any given day one could make the argument that she might be the toughest and the strongest woman in the entire company.

But...

Duna was tougher. Duna was stronger. Duna was the goddamn Queen of the Beach and for Duna, everything was on the line in this match. Whatever storm that Bishamonta could throw at her, Hurricane Duna was ready to weather it and throw it back twice as hard. She was a woman possessed, a queen fighting for her kingdom, and in the end...

In the end, it could have been either of them. In the end, it was a flurry of reversals and counters, and both women throwing everything they had at each other...and in the end, it came down to one last move.

With all of her strength, all of her might, she lifted Bishamonta into the air...

Then, with one last Beach Buster, one more slam, driving the giantess into the match...

One last cover, one last fall to end it all...

The bell rang. The match was over. Duna had won.

The war was finished.

The arena lights dim as the main screen begins playing a video package. It's somber in tone, depicting seemingly unrelated shots in sync with the dirgeful backing track.
Empty roads, the dotted divider pulled towards the bottom of the frame in a steady track.
Starry night skies, hazed blooms of colors overhead.
Footprints in the sand, washed away by the waves.
Ruins, with glass, debris, and athletic equipment scattered around haphazardly.
Shots of metropolitan Spaghetti Town at night, timelapsed so the traffic is a blur of streaking lights and colors.
As the first chant finishes, the video lingers on a shot of the WWA arena, empty, from the perspective of an audience member, high up in the cheap seats. It pulls back even further, still focused on the ring, but from the nosebleeds.

The chanted vocals repeat...
Videos of the rookies working in the dojo program.
Unused TV angles for Taking The Piss with Hailey Britannia.
Shaky recorded footage of the mayhem on the jetliner to Tokyo.
Dashcam footage, where the driver stops in a certain spot. The scene of an accident, long since cleared out. An accident that changed the course of the company. And the subject of this vignette.
The final shot, like the last, remains focused, but pulls back.
It's of a figure, standing in the middle of that road, the bright headlights behind them casting a deep darkness that obscures their features.
Eventually, the camera pulls back so far that, between the distant dots of the headlights, the sillhouette has blended into the black of the night between the beams.

The lights come back on.
And for the first time in over a month, a familiar theme plays over the loudspeakers.

Nika couldn't wait to finally hear that crowd rooting for her again, but first, she needed to break free from Lillith's grasp.

However, the exhaustion from the grueling match made it difficult for Nika to keep up with Lillith's strength. Lillith's hands, large and powerful, quickly drained the color from Nika's face, shifting from smugness to panic. Nika thrashed her limbs desperately, but they soon grew weak and unresponsive. As Lillith snapped out of her panic, Nika's body went limp and collapsed to the ground like a ragdoll.

Originally, Nika had planned to deliver another lightning knee as Lillith attacked her post-match like she had orchestrated, to make it appear she had no tolerance for underhanded sore losers. However, it seemed like she had once again come up short. Yet, all was not lost. The boos that usually accompanied Nika's presence were absent this time, replaced by a collective gasp of shock since they weren't used to seeing Lillith that way.

The taste of triumph was hers, and her very first at that, but she was completely knocked out, unable to bask in her glory.

Despite emerging as the victor, she found herself humiliated, lying unconscious on the ring, her uncouth face on display for thousands to see. This was her first win, and this was supposed to be special. This was not the triumphant visage one would expect. To assuage herself, she thought at least she had managed to paint Lillith as the villain and perhaps, finally garnered some adoration from the crowd.

Nevertheless, her determination to reshape the infamous image of the Divine Angels remained unyielding. Despite the temptation to depart, Nika resolved to rebuild the stable. However, for the time being, she entertained the idea of joining forces with The Boston Crab. What did it matter anyway? Nika had already proven her worth to be liberated from the suffocating grasp of Priscilla. She was simply exercising the freedom that had been hard-earned.

It also made sense, the desire to make Sola realize that she wasn't the only one who could find a new partner out of the blue. She didn't want to come across as jealous, but rather as someone who could make others feel disposable, all in a cunning attempt to quietly entice her husband.
