>NJPW with original Bullet Club, Devvit, Styles, Nakamura, Omega, Good Bro>Okada and Tanahashi in their prime>Strong style Nakamura >Original NXT with Tyler Breeze, Enzo and Cass, PAC, Sami Zayn, American Alpha, Kevin Owens, Baylor, Nakamura, Samoa Joe>Smackdown Live (enough said) >Lucha Underground >Brock Lesnar squashing Cena and Undertaker>The Shield and The Wyatt Family>The promise of upcoming AEW (which later turned out to be shit)Lucha Underground, NXT and NJPW were consistently creative and exciting during this era. Outside of that, indie wrestling was as big as it's ever been, which has since been virtually killed by AEW. WWE's main programming was largely shit (and still is) but they had so many little flecks of promise which would get you excited, even though those dreams would inevitably be shit upon. Wrestling genuinely felt like it was just on the verge of another big boom throughout that whole era but it just never happened and as of right now its completely stagnant.
