I think Cole and Graves would sell it more as a shoot, with Foley being fucked up and done. Cole would probably get all fired up with Foley's return and hope spots, putting the match over strong.

1999 Cole did a stellar job with help putting Foley's first World Title win over, so I'd imagine modern Cole - now without Vince micromanaging in his ear and tons of experience - would've really helped sell this more and emphatize on Mankind's spirit and grit in this match to continue on.
