>decent look
>had a shitty broke gimmick that got over but for some reason they killed it

People rag on him a lot for whatever reason but he was genuinely always dimes in my opinion. Just seems like he has no true holes in his work even if he doesn't excel at anything. I get that he was balding pretty bad but there was no reason to have him cut the hair, balding long hair genuinely looks badass as fuck. Even when he shaved it they shouldn't have scrapped the Lone Wolf gimmick and theme. Going over to the bum corbin and happy corbin gimmicks was extremely bizarre because it was an almost completely new character that had nearly 0 relation to the badass guy he played prior but he made it work anyway and he was entertaining for a while. Then they just buried the nigga out of the blue and made him job every single time which doesn't make sense. He should have just been a mid-upper card guy for life like Kane

He literally has a WOAT physique and look, that's what "happened" to him.

His theme has only gotten worse, his look has only gotten worse. He had the makings of a good heat machine gatekeeper who could bounce up and down the card or be IC level/once in a while world contender, but they never pulled the trigger to make him be taken seriously in that role.
Somebody like Miz you can slot in anytime to be a transitional champion. If you had done the same for Corbin like using MITB to win or beating Seth during their feud and holding it for even a week, it would have done wonders for him.
I think they blame him for the JBL thing failing, but he never needed JBL in the first place.
