When this game dropped with all the problems it had the fan base took it to task. They demanded refunds and got them, with Sony famously handing them out. The devs apologized and acknowledged they had let the fan base down. They took a year off to course correct. All this happened and things moved forward. AEW fans get a game that is a glitch fest disaster that took 4 years, making AEW unprofitable while being developed. It is asking for the same price point as games like Starfield, MK1, SF 6 etc. Real AAA games. It is unmitigated mess. But AEW fans will defend it out of an insecurity that if they dont they are going against their fed of choice. This is why their brand is shit and will never improve. Because they arent allowed to critique any part of it.
