Epic has in no way announced anything close to this and I would hope for their sake wouldn't as it would only frustrate and upset their fanbase and the devs using their tools to be forced to do this. Immortals Of Aveum drops in a month and has not announced anything like that. And it would not make "things easier for devs". How would it make anything easier for the devs? And what exactly does that have to do with major devs and publishers? Companies that would actively already have those elements worked on in a custom way along with the rest of their production rollout? What level of dev do you think is using those systems? I have the game and the way online is set up is backwards as fuck. You choose ranked or casual then choose a specific match type, then it tries to find you a match. This means your odds of finding anyone are super slim. They really need to let you match with anyone in any type of mode because right now finding a match takes forever.
