Omega of all people being involved in this shit is unbridled faggotry. Imagine being a gamer and then charging people for day 1 DLC on a game in development for 4 years. If the decision wasn't his it doesn't make him any less of a dickhead. He put himself out there as some major part of this project, saying he was going to have a major voice. He went around crowing about it, and then either implements shit like this that gamers hate, or allowed it.

100%. The fact that this game is $70 and has day one DLC is outright carny rape. Imagine any other game even trying to do this shit in this day and age. People wouldn't put up with a day one DLC pack for SF6. You want to sell outfits and cosmetics? Fine. But characters? Modes? Gameplay on the first day?

Yeah it sucks but this is what gaming is like now, especially for niche IPs like fucking wrestling. I think this game has some charm and I might buy it around thanksgiving/christmas but it's wild that there's less customization than there was in the games I played as a kid 15 years ago
