Not that I think wrestling will hit another boom again either, but throughout the past hundred years, wrestling was always hot. And even during the slumps (excluding the early 90s) a few territories were still doing well. It wasn't until after the Attitude Era that things cooled off like this for this long.

They have two moves left. Move Collision to Mondays and make it the main show, give Cena the WCW Hogan to get him away from Hollywood. And frankly they should do both.
The only other option is to turn the whole thing over to Cornette who will have it profitable in months and slowly build their popularity while WWE continues to plummet, but that's not as bold of a move.

I've been believing this too. For all the "WWE is white hot" takes you see out there, I've yet to see any new fans being created during this period. All I've seen is metrics and numbers that seem to reflect the fact that there is a group of fans that will watch whichever is more popular and right now that's WWE.
