He works for AEW doing merchandising . They've mentioned several times that he's the liaison between the talent and Upper Deck for when they sign the stickers they put on the trading cards. He also works the ring crew sometimes. And he's done some dark matches as well (usually when they're in Chicago for some reason.)

I'm not sure what exactly Highspots did to him, but he and the people around him suggest his time working there was torturous and fucked his head up. Probably just felt underappreciated, underpaid, etc., like most workers.

Nothing major, they just went on hiatus and never came back. Colt's still a full time wrestler, Marty DeRosa still does comedy, Jake was still with Highspots at the time.

I really miss this period on the indies. It felt like there was a real community. So many random feds got popularity like 5DW and ICW. NJPW got super hot. Guys like Kevin Steen were able to make legit livings just selling shirts and working the indie circuit.

Triple H killed it, Tony buried it, then COVID pissed on the grave.
