Vince said in his playboy interview that he's had gay experiences before and the Michaels push was kind of odd. He's really not the kind of guy that Vince likes to push. Smaller, partied and lot and wasn't stable in his personal life, injury-prone. Wasn't out of shape, but he wasn't Hogan or Warrior level jacked. The Rockers were ok, but compared to other guys in the early 90's, it was hard to see Michaels getting the kind of push he eventually got ... especially compared to a dude like Kerry Von Erich. You can make the argument that Vince really had no one else other than Bret and Shawn, but the Kliq got a lot of leeway other wrestlers didn't get. This also means Haitch probably took McMahon up the ass too.
