While it was enjoyable in the moment, I wonder if having him right by Vince's side did some kind of damage to him. Vince is one of the best characters wrestling has ever had, anything else Austin does afterwards will certainly feel like a downgrade.

I thought this guy was an overrated Beyond/Evolve wrestling moves moves moves "he's so heckin young!!" tier guy since I saw him in 2020, he remained that way until Vince started pushing him which made me realize he was even worse than I originally thought, he got over with me for like a week because a town down is a good theme and I thought the Beyblade shit was hilarious, and now that he's beating Cena at Wrestlemania in the most flat match of the entire two-night show, he's more dead in the water than ever.
