booked to win but shoot break your arm midmatch? it's your responsibility to call an audible and job to the other guy. especially if youre a 'serious' wrestler who supposedly cares about making it look realistic. how the fuck would okada lose to a 1-armed guy? he would just go after the injury like a pitbull and end the match in 10 seconds.

bryan buried okada by going through with the win. what a mark.

Melt expects me to believe that was better than virtually every other non AEW match that Danielson has had? It gets to a point where these ratings aren't even plausible. Crowd was barely into it. The typical Okada match starts exactly like this one did, and hits it's stride in the last third. His ability to pace a match is incredible, but the Danielson injury obviously affected the last stretch of the match.

I don't think it's about some pay yer duez meme to humble people though. It's just no one can just park at the top of the card for 15 years and not get stale. Okada's character is only heating up a little recently after literal years because he's playing a grumpy old man character in his mid 30s
