>>10689432I've played people online and beat road to elite twice. I like it but I should've waited for a sale
>Caw modebare and not worth effort, the best part about it is moveset and entrance creation
>GameplayIts fun. Theres alot of unintuitive controls for things such as throwing your opponent from outside back in to the ring and springboard/dives that people will need to look up, but the basics are easy enough.
Unlike 2k you don't have reversal stocks. You just have to time the grapple or strike counter button depending on whats coming. Its harder to counter the less hp you have. Momentum can swing fast so if you counter and don't get countered, you can win against AI in a couple of minutes or less on normal, and even squash scrubby players the same
>road to eliteI played as an ingame wrestler and as a created wrestler. Ingame wrestler story felt generic. I was playing as Rey Fenix and ended up teaming with Hobbs and was feuding over nothing in the midcard. Created wrestler mode was better because you get to level up your stats and unlock overpowered perks, and the interactions with AEW roster made more sense. Story seems to change depending on if you win or lose, and if you choose to do interviews etc between matches. Also if you play as a female you still end up challenging the men and winning their titles cause the women's roster is so small kek
Game needs work. Its roster is stuck years in the past and the lighting makes everything look weird. Gameplay is ok tho
