He went away for family bullshit. IMO, the Pinnacle was MJF's non-belt championship run. Spears the chair-coomer. Wardlow, Tully, a heel tag-team. He was a bigger deal then than as the champ now. The thing was Spears wasn't even resolved, either. Weak.
