Kawada would’ve worked just fine in the US, but he didn’t care for foreigners and he probably would’ve been too stiff, similar to RVD. He was best off in Japan, doesn’t mean he wasn’t best in the world at the time though. Kobashi is a better pick for all-rounder that could’ve gotten over anywhere, imo. I just think it’s funny these jobbers like Storm and Snow try to say the best wrestlers/matches are the ones that draw the most despite never drawing a dime themselves. I understand the sentiment, but as a fan, I don’t care about dollars and cents for a corporation. I’m entertained by what goes on in the ring. I don’t care for profits or hypotheticals, e.g, could Kawada or Kobashi work in the US? Probably. Doesn’t matter to me though, and why should it?
