Getting people into wrestling should be a slow burn. Very few people start out watching NJPW, AEW, Stardom, Triple A, all that shit is niche smark stuff.

Out of all the wrestling I've shown non fan friends the one they've consistently liked the most was New Japan. The trick is to sit down, crack open a few beers and watch a show live together. Telling people to go watch your favourite matches devoid of any context is just gonna lead to them getting confused and or bored.
