He doesn't need to retire, he just needs to slow down his schedule.
He had 48 matches this year already, 12 of which were what I'd consider "high impact" matches, as in, singles matches or tag matches where he did a lot of the heavy lifting for his side.
And now he intends to do a full G1.

He has to pick one. If he really wants to keep doing the G1, then he needs to take a rest for most of the rest of the year. The way he's going right now at his age is simply not sustainable.

A bunch do, Rey, Kenny, Kevin Nash, Ciampa, Edge. And I think a lot more of them do but prefer to be quiet about it because stem cell research is still seen by some with bad eyes.
