And that's just the gameplay. I didn't even mention match options like time limits, rope breaks. I like the game, but it's baby's first AKI mixed with DOR. If they dont upgrade it, and fast, it is over.

...but likely won't be. They're gonna probably concentrate on CAWs, glitches, and DLC. If they add moves, it will be move packs, not adding to existing movesets for already existing wrestlers. We all know how this goes. They're not gonna add stuff like 10 count punches and running heads into corners.

I think there'll be DLC, but wonder how much of the gameplay can be upgraded with patches. They're not gonna charge for universal gameplay changes, and they're not gonna want to do too many of those for free. Even then, if they drop it, then make a sequel, if they don't use Yukes again, it's gonna be another start from 0 all over again. On the other hand, why use Yukes again if they clearly suck. AEW Games have worked themselves into a shoot.

Thing is, I don't know how they could've made a great enough first game without Yukes. There are no other devs that even understand how wrestling works.

I don't know what you people expect, all the issues can but put down to it being a niche product they can't put infinite money into and having to develop it for 6 platforms. Be glad that they completely nailed how a match should play out in these games in the first version. Feels like talking to a bunch of zoomers who never had to put up with the likes of RAW, Wrestlemania X8, TNA Impact and Legends of Wrestling.

It sucks to say but wrestling fans rarely ever get shit done, due to a mixture of lacking motivation and lacking braincells. The past 20 years of attempts to make a good 3D indie wrestling game have been laughably bad, it says a lot than MDickie is legitimately the best effort and the one that's stood the test of time as his stuff was meme-tier for years but he at least stuck with it.

There shouldn't be glitches on any platform. Only the 3D rendering, input, and audio code should be platform specific. The rest of the code, the important shit that's responsible for running the game, should be completely platform agnostic. But then again Yuke's is retarded so they probably used shitty middleware and then fucked around with it in stupid ways that introduced platform-specific bugs.
