As an overall show, 29 was better.
Shield vs Randy, Show and Sheamus was a solid open.
Mark Henry vs Ryback was a solid big guy match even if the ending was dumb.
Taker vs Punk was the best match on the card.
And at least most of the other stuff on the card was built up for a while and wasn't offensively bad.
27 was all built around a guy who wasn't going to wrestling for another year.
27 had a weak build but was sold around The Rock being on, so we had a shit ton of subpar matches that could've been on RAW. The longest matches/segments on the show was two commentators fighting for an eternity, and then the wrong guy wins anyway, and Taker vs HHH which was good, but went for ten minutes too long (like every HHH match).
Then one of the most subpar Main Events of all time.
