They were never edgy, it’s more a non-american sensibility where you can make racist, homophobic and sexist comments without too much backlash because it’s a joke. Though they have softened a little which is fair enough because of twitter, cancelling etc.
They’re best with things they watched and are comfy with (New Gen WWF, AE WWF, modern stuff, TNA), but anything they don’t have familiarity with (90’s WCW, ECW) is very poor at worst and mid at best. It’s not hard to mock the campIness of Hogan’s 95 WCW run.
Just don’t watch their boring watch alongs and it’s comfy viewing but the second they start becoming stars and start getting a bit of fame, it drops a bit.
