He writes the way he speaks, just rambling stream of consciousness, he doesn't observe any of the most basic rules of journalistic writing (Answer the 5 Ws within the first 1-2 sentences, use the inverted pyramid model to convey the information, most relevant info at the top first to least relevant info last at the bottom, use short+simple sentences, never use passive voice (it is said/there is a feeling/speculation exists/etc) in headlines or body text, etc, etc.
So much of what he says and writes being misrepresented (purposely or accidentally by 5th string cut n paste malware farm newzzzzsites) is down to this issue of him being very poor at communicating what he means in his writing.
Could you imagine if the major daily/weekly metro newspapers in any city on Earth were the same first draft rambling stream of consciousness nonsense the Observer is?
