Definitely Edge, Punk's shit was mediocre for the most part but nothing Edge has accomplished was anywhere near Punk's MJF feud.

Brawl Out damaged Punk's reputation forever, half of the fanbase that watches him now dislikes him. Atleast this last run by Edge didn't make him look like a piece of shit even if getting kicked out of his own group made him look like a bitch.

Edge's return was a pleasant surprise and basically a bonus round for his career and a chance to end it on his own terms, and while it had some duds like that awful Orton match at the PCMania or him winning the Rumble when he had no business doing it, he still produced fun moments, had intersting feuds, a few dream matches and generally just jammed around the place like a veteran should

Punk returned way too late and just out of being butthurt, and while he did have some kino moments and matches, in the end his bitch ass personality and ego get in the way of him being a worthwhile talent and he ended up creating more problems than he's worth imo, and I say that sadly because overall he is a wrestler I like more than Edge but his bitterness gets the better of him

Who damaged their legacy more?, again, Punk, easily, chances are there's no other wrestler with a more "damaged" legacy in fact.

Edge's return can be safely tagged as mediocre, safe, warm, mid, some decent highs and some poor lows but all in all forgettable both for good and bad purposes. Punk on the other hand has been a disaster on every single metric you can think of, no good numbers, no good matches, no good relationship with his coworkers, etc etc...Remember, Punk's big moment was all about bitching, he never had great ring work nor promos either, and the more he stays in wrestling the more people realize that he's a hollow and extremely pretentious entertainer, so much that not even The Elite wanted to work with him.

Edge is just Jericho tier, meaning a guy who was decent in the ring but never really good and is now worse because of age, decides to do one final run to bur-err I mean elevate new talent on the roster. Punk on the other hand is hated by half of his company, has lost all good will with fans except for the most delusional punk marks and he was always shit in the ring but now he's even worse and will probably injure himself again in a few weeks and be gone for another 9 months
