No, it is simply the single most distracting, obnoxious, and biggest self mark chant in all of wrestling. The crowd makes sure it’s not even about promos. The crowd refuses to pay any attention to what’s being said and simply wait for pauses between speech. They then don’t listen because their attention is focused on silent pauses, they then wind up hardly following anything that’s happening and they THE need to be reminded of what has happened 500 times by announcers/recaps because they were too busy not paying attention. It’s stupid and requires speakers to awkwardly adapt to the crowd’s pace so their promo can be heard, attempt to bury it and no sell the chants while the crowd continues on anyway, or play with the chant and try to turn it on the crowd.
