This match got me to start watching the show on dvr which lead to me watching the Royal Rumble and eventually when Randy returned and beat the piss out of Seth it hooked me for good.
I did watch as a kid so I guess I was just a lapsed fan but as an adult this match and this bump feel like the reason that I like wrestling.

Edge vs Christian in 2001 at one of the UK PPVs that ended up getting the WWF in legal trouble for using the name abroad. They were using the older style metal bar cages. Christian was about to win, Edge pulled Christian's legs through the gaps, nutted him, tied his boots together, then escaped while Christian couldn't get free. That finish has stuck with me for 22 years.

It was pretty stable. WWF literally started using it because it was the only cage that was going to support big guys like Bundy.

It was dropped because:
>it's a pain in the ass for the ring crew to set up
>it looked way weaker than the chain link cages that WCW was using
>it's tougher to get good shots in it with cameras
>by the time the Attitude Era rolled around it just didn't fit the aesthetic.
