Jungle boy was actually brought in by Cody. There's some kayfabe about him being brought in by the young bucks pwg clique or w/e but it's incorrect. The elite probably had interest in him at the start because he started in aew as a workrate tag wrestler, which put him in the bucks' sphere. The young guy the elite were most invested in getting over though, was obviously Hangman.
