Born From Lifelong Fandom
Kitsune Women's Wrestling founder, Eric Howard, was born a wrestling fan. His mother took him to wrestling in San Diego when he was only a few months old. His love for wrestling never dissipated. Eric was an avid reader of wrestling magazines and watched every bit of wrestling on television.
Trips to Japan
Eric made his first trip to Japan in 2016 with the priority of fulfilling the dream of watching a wrestling show in Japan. His first show was a Stardom show at Korakuen Hall. From there, he was hooked! Eric's trip in 2019 inspired him. Having attended a Gatoh Move show and being treated so well by the staff and wrestlers, Eric needed to tell the world.
Had to Share!
He wasn't sure how he wanted to share his joy of Joshi wrestling. He then had the idea of starting a podcast and The Joshi Pod was born. Eric has had a who's who of Japanese women's wrestling on the podcast, including everyone from Bull Nakano to Chigusa Nagayo to Act Yasukawa to Maki Itoh's first English speaking interview.
