The last straw for Jericho was when Hunter stuck his big nose into Jericho's working relationship with Kevin Owens, bullshitting Owens into thinking Jericho was parasitically leeching off of him and got Owens to agree to abort the Jericho/Owens BFF partnership storyline.
Jericho put up with a TON of shit from Hunter over the years, because he got along well with Vince. But Hunter fucking up his working relationship with Owens was the last straw and led to Jericho bailing and never coming back to the WWE after his last contract expired.
Fucker will never come back to the WWE so long as Hunter as an iota of power there at this point. Especially since Jericho's got things the cushiest of all in AEW, due to Tony being a huge mark for him; even moreso than for Punk.
