there really has been no innovation in wrestling games. like imagine a wrestling game where it's 3rd person pov like dark souls and splitscreen 2 player and its about backyard wrestling and has just some kayfabe storyline trying to come up and succeed and just wrestle for the passion of it and the heels hating on you or whatever. you dont have to have a stupid arena and some licensed roster universe and how realistic it looks. have all the custom hardcore matches and all the match types. just some lads doing some good old wrestling.

For me it's tied betweeen:

No Mercy was still fun when I played it again a few years back, but I wouldn't want to play it now. Grew up playing the N64 AKI games and all the Smackdown games, then I stopped after the last SvR game. Picked up 2k19 on a whim a year after it came out and loved it.

Tried Flop Forever and it's complete garbage.
