MJF got too strong of a push too soon. He should've stayed as Cody's lackey for much longer. Should've stayed in that midcarder lane for a while instead of already wrestling for the main title less than a year after Dynamite formed. Post All Out Brawl Out I still wouldn't have him sniff the belt, and if Moxley didn't feel comfortable being champ as long as he did, I would've put it on Danielson.
I can't buy MJF as a main event level talent in any company. He has a "character", people think he's amazing at promos (he's good but c'mon now lol) and frankly subpar in the ring with a non-stand out look. It's obvious even now that it's a character he's made while he was young with no depth, nothing beyond a one note personality heel. He should still be in the midcard young guy pack as Darby, Jungle Boy, Sammy right now.
