Good point, he says he fast forwards through raw way more than he does aew. He does the tough love gimmick, he just wants pro wrestling to be taken seriously and not go back to the carny days but fails to understand that the audience is radically different now. The truth is none of us have an answer to how to get wrestling over with the money mark casuals, when ever I talk about wrestling at work it always goes back to 90s or sometimes the 80s. It's not rose tinted nostalgia, it's more that people like steamboat were just way more compelling to watch than 35 minutes if tribal court.
