Mox is fighting against and with some of the greatest performers on earth in wrestling promotions.
Kurt had to fight a bunch of roided up blown up alcoholics or ex alcoholics who all had one foot out the door to Hollywood as a wrestler in a company where the actual wrestling holds no real priority.

And then TNA took him at the tail end of his prime.

i couldn't give less of a flying fuck about meltzer's ratings but in my opinion even though kurt angle consistently had good matches, he achieved 5 stars only thrice in my book. he was mostly booked with guys who couldn't carry him to that level. making a match is a two players game. mox's usual matches range from ok to decent but every once in a while for some reason he manages to put out a fucking insane banger of a show. but he doesn't do it on his own. he gets help from guys who are either on his level or better than him. kurt was able to match everyone's style and carry them to good matches. so does moxley have more 5 star matches in my opinion? absolutely. but is moxley a better wrestler than kurt angle? no. its really as simple as that

All hogans wwf matches are at best good like his match with warrior is hype but its actually not that entertaining except for a few spots.
