I mentally booked my entire G1 thinking Okada and Kaito would be second in their respective blocks and then face off in the semi-finals. Looks like both of them are going to be 1st in their blocks instead. Fuck Gedo man, I hate him so much...Why the fuck did Shingo lose to Eddie Kingston? Makes no fucking sense. SANADA's theme in this G1 is that he is the dominant champion in a kid's block who will "not lose a single match". He won't lose any match in the block stage but he won't win all of them either. At least 1 or 2 of his matches are going to end in a draw.

Chris pretty much spoiled this yesterday on commentary as well when he said, "I think we are going to see more than 1 draw in this G1".

I don't think Tsuji is gonna lose again. It'd be a nice way to build him as a monster heel despite losing his first two matches, albeit he lost to people he should have lost to. I think he's gonna beat Sanada when they meet again this block.

Most of those people have their opinions given to them by someone else. The crowd reactions and actual worm in the ring say otherwise. EVIL kept the shenanigans to a minimum, Tama had a ton of babyface fire and his shit looked good. There's a reason it got more crowd investment than Naito or Tanahashi.

SANADA has produced better attendances for every G1 night he's been in so far, by the way. The same was true with his title defenses.
