>>10849059Thats actually bullshit though. That came from the shitty record keeping laws in Japan that state basically....family is responsible for reporting deaths. And because Japanese families are ashamed of not supporting their eldest family member (like they have the reputation for doing)...you get these instances were the family patriarchs died alone in their home without anyone visiting them for years...and they never report them deceased. So when they look at the ages of these people, they are over 100. They've found some close 200 years old. Of course, some of them are just people not reporting them so they can collect their pensions. But yah the whole thing is bullshit.
