the length of the match added a LOT to it to make it great. the first fall went long, which of course it should because mexican style 2/3 fall matches where guys get pinned in 2 minutes are fucking shit and retarded - going the length of a regular match is how it should be if you're going to do this stip. aside from that, the SECOND fall going long built the match up to insane levels because BCG won the first fall, so you know they're gonna even it up... so every time they hit jay with a big move, the fans would bite on the pin fall but he'd kick out, and they'd go nuts. then they hit him with another big move, and he'd kick out, and they'd go even crazier. and it just kept happening. for the final fall no one knew how it would end. either team could have won, and then when they announced the time limit was coming, you'd start thinking they'd go to a draw. but they gave you a clean finish right before the bell so you can't complain about it being meaningless or dragging the feud out etc. it had decisive winners. plus they beat juice both times and protected jay, even making him look like a god who would not go down to the most devastating moves because he's a main event level talent they can build the company around, and they know it.
this was a perfect match.
